Prepare to delve into the deep web
The red band trailer for upcoming horror film DEEP WEB XXX has just been released and it certainly lives up to expectation. Straddling the art-house, fetish and extreme horror genres this anthology film threatens to explore a wide range of explicit, dare I say, forbidden perversions and fantasies without holding back and this is perhaps why people visit the deep web in real life. However it may also open up a number of conversations or debates around the actions witnessed, its (almost) hidden status and those who partake either as a voyeur or engaged participant...both sides are clearly complicit in fueling production. Or maybe it will simply give a taste to those who are unsure or inhibited.
Now for clarity the deep web is essentially anything a search engine cant find (while the dark web is anything in the deep web that is intentionally hidden and granting anonymity) and really if you didn't have any preconceptions about what sorts of sites exist in this area the fact it is not so easy to find using a standard search engine should give you an idea or what to expect on there and here in this film.
Back to the film and unfortunately at present I cannot find much information on the film or the stories contained within, perhaps this is ironic considering the topic, however we do know that British born actor and dialogue/sound coach expert Mark Thompson-Ashworth will play the web user in the over arching story and based on the powerful imagery that is delivered through sped-up quick cuts which barely allow the viewers brain to fully process the action seen, we can be certain that DEEP WEB XXX is certainly going to deliver what it promises and is not for the faint-hearted or easily shocked.
Produced by the highly productive (and talented) Domiziano Cristopharo through 'The Enchanted Architect' company and Tony Newton, through 'Vestra Pictures', DEEP WEB XXX will feature seven directors; as well as Cristopharo himself these include Davide Pesca, Sam Mason-Bell, Jason Impey and rookie directors Elisa Carrea Fumagalli, Martyna Madej and Emanuele Marchetto.
From the trailer it is apparent that this film will certainly appeal to those who are curious, inquisitive and fascinated by sexualised sub-culture as well as the audience that exists for extreme gritty visceral horror imagery. Will it make for compulsive viewing only time will tell.

Watch the trailer (below) and make up your own mind about how far down the rabbit hole you are willing to travel.
