Trailer for British-Italian horror Sci-Fi film Landing Lake errr....lands

After showing at the recent Cannes Marché Du Film, Filmablast and EuroObscura have put out the first trailer for the British sci-fi horror film LANDING LAKE.  Promising to be a throwback to the science fiction thrillers of the late 70s and 80s, such as Ridley Scott’s ALIEN and John Carpenter’s THE THING the film, the plot of LANDING LAKE follows a technical team who while repairing a communication tower realise that something in the nearby lake may be affecting their minds.

Soon inhibitions are lost and their primal instincts take over but there can be only one left not to survive but rather live again. With echoes of not just Ridley Scott and John Carpenter but also David Cronenberg within the film, along with a unique take this is one film, potentially, that fans of the more tension based science fiction films will have to check out; especially after recent, Hollywood disappointments within this sub-genre.

LANDING LAKE is the debut feature of director Cesare P. Libardi Di K. and was filmed in both Italy and the UK and stars Aaron Stielstra (AGE OF THE DEAD; THE BLIND KING), Phil Zimmerman (DRACULA UNTOLD), Emma Brown and is the feature debut of Victoire Vecchierini.

No release date has been announced as of yet but you can find out more at the official Facebook page and by watching the trailer below:
