Phobia: An international horror

Us Brits have always had a fascination with the Italian culture, be it expressed through our poetry, art or even football (remember the Anglo-Italian cup) and now through our horror cinema and upcoming film PHOBIA.
Presented by 'Vestra Pictures' (responsbile for films such as GRINDSPLOITATION and VIRUS OF THE DEAD) and Domiziano Cristopharo's company 'The Enchanted Architect', PHOBIA is a new collective movie that will feature 15 international directors, all of which will explore and delve into the horrors of phobias.
PHOBIA is truly a global effort and already set to feature stories by directors from diverse places such as Austria, Ireland and Nigeria as well as featuring your more traditionally featured Americans, Brits and Italians. This diversity is sure to throw up a few surprises and hopefully open many eyes, including my own, to a whole bunch of film makers.
Already confirmed are directors James Quinn (THE LAW OF SODOM), Sam Mason Bell (THE MAKING OF), Jason Impey (HOME MADE), Alessandro Redaelli (POE 3), Chris Milewski (WELCOME TO THE WORLD, MY CHILD), Alessandro Giordani (L'INSONNE) plus Newton (60 SECONDS TO DIE) as well as Cristopharo himself (HOUSE OF FLESH MANNEQUINS; VIRUS EXTREME CONTAMINATION).
Conceptually it puts me in mind of a variation of Hippocampus M21th which explored fetishes BUT with a diverse set of international directors the possibilities here for unique exploration and visions of the subject are very exciting.
Directors get involved!
There is more...the last five directors will be chosen through an international submission process! If you are interested you must send a short of around five minutes, depicting a phobia of your choosing. If selected your short will be included either in this release or the follow up which is already in development.
