Severin Films to release cannibal flick Eaten Alive!

 

On February 13th, sadly falling on a Tuesday and not a Friday, Severin Films will be delving deep into cannibal territory with the release of Umberto Lenzi's EATEN ALIVE!

Boasting a terrific cast that includes Robert Kerman (CANNIBAL HOLOCAUST), Janet Agren (CITY OF THE LIVING DEAD), Ivan Rassimov (THE MAN FROM DEEP RIVER and so much more) and cannibal film starlet Me Me Lai (THE MAN FROM DEEP RIVER; JUNGLE HOLOCAUST) not to mention Hollywood star Mel Ferrer (NIGHTMARE CITY) the film marks director Umberto Lenzi's return to the jungle and arguably the genre he arguable started having directed THE MAN FROM DEEP RIVER eight years previously.

EATEN ALIVE! sees a young woman teaming up with an adventurer in order to find her sister who is missing in the jungles of New Guinea,  where they not have to deal with cannibals but also a deranged religious cult.
