2016 see's the release of the Italian horror film 'VIRUS: EXTREME CONTAMINATION' and we have high hopes for this release.  Although I am unsure if this is simply a zombie movie or something all together otherworldly the teaser has definitely piqued my interest thanks to its 80s style synth soundtrack and promise of undead violence.

The film is loosely inspired by the H.P. Lovecraft story The Colour Out of Space and is directed by Domiziano Cristopharo (PHANTASMAGORIA, HOUSE OF FLESH MANNEQUINS), who also co-wrote the film with the highly respected Antonio Tentori (A CAT IN THE BRAIN, SYMPHONY IN BLOOD RED, DRACULA 3D).

VIRUS: EXTREME CONTAMINATION follows an Italian scientist in Kosovo who is studying the impact of a meteorite that has caused a series of peculiar events, including the changing of the inhabitants of a military base into dangerous weird creatures. Watch the tailer below:
